Kingston ON. Oct 11, 2018
Today FrontRunner Professional released the lineup of workshops and speakers for the upcoming 2019 Workshop Cruise, which sets sail from Miami on February 16, 2019.
The workshop cruise is a seven-night tour of the Caribbean that will give passengers the opportunity to network with funeral professionals across the United States and Canada, participate in workshops to earn CEU’s and have some fun on the world’s largest cruise ship, Royal Caribbean’s Symphony of the Seas.
“For next year’s workshop Cruise, we went big! We’ve allocated a group space to hold more than one hundred funeral professionals and negotiated special cabin pricing on the world’s newest and largest cruise ship” says Ashley Montroy, CMO of FrontRunner. “We’ve also built an educational lineup that will be held in a very unique space. Attendees will learn in the mornings and spend their afternoons having some fun in the sun or exploring the Caribbean Islands.” says Ashley Montroy, CMO of FrontRunner.
The workshops will cover everything from learning the formula for the perfect funeral home website, creating a great social media presence and search engine optimization, to building a great cremation brand and mastering prep room ethics. The entire workshop schedule will give those in attendance a well-rounded experience that covers some of today’s most compelling topics that they can’t get anywhere else.
“When we sat down to create these courses, and the learning experience as a whole, it was based on what we had heard from so many of our clients and other professionals on the road. It is a mix of the topics they wanted to learn about and the things we believe can help them be successful in both the coming year and in the future” adds Montroy. “I teach thousands of funeral professionals at conferences year-round. I’m excited for the workshop cruise, it gives attendees uninterrupted time to learn some of the things I teach on the road, but in so much more detail. We even have a guest speaker from Pierce Chemical joining us on the ship.” concludes Montroy.
The 2019 Workshop group space with special rates is available until November 1st. In addition, any firms looking to update their technology before November 1st can be entered to win a cruise for two until October 25, 2018 at vip.frontrunnerpro.com.

FrontRunner Unveils its New ‘Final Resting Place’, GPS Enabled App

FrontRunner Unveils its New ‘Final Resting Place’, GPS Enabled App
Kingston ON. May 24, 2018
FrontRunner today announced the unveiling of the new GPS enabled App, Final Resting Place, which allows funeral homes, cemeteries and families to record the exact location of a loved ones remains. The app is designed to provide future generations with a permanent location that can be visited like any other traditional grave site.
The App can be downloaded by funeral homes, cemeteries and the public at large. It enables users to record their loved ones final resting place, whether it be in a cemetery or ashes spread in the middle of an ocean, which is then converted to GPS coordinates. Those coordinates are instantly attached to the Book of Memories Memorial Website to be permanently accessible online for future generations. In addition, it allows for a photo of the headstone or other key landmarks to be attached.
“Today, with such a rise in cremation and particularly with the scattering of cremated remains in remote, meaningful places, we wanted to create a simple tool that will allow future generations to return to the location and honor their loved one’s memory,” says Jason Truesdell, President of FrontRunner Professional. “It is a tremendous example of a great use of technology. There are a lot of families that take their deceased loved one to a specific location as their final resting place, without recording the location. Now, future generations will know exactly where to visit, years down the road,” concludes Truesdell.
For funeral homes, the App is particularly powerful as it gives them a form of mapping system attached to the Book of Memories memorial tribute page. It’s a service for their families that focuses on more than just helping the family today, but also years down the road, setting them further apart from their competition.
When it comes to smaller cemeteries that have limited budgets, the App can also be used as a no-cost platform to map out their cemetery. With a custom website solution and a memorial website platform, families will now be able to interact with and expand their loved one’s memorial and even assist in the cemetery mapping process by recording the final resting place themselves.

FrontRunner Technology Keeps Firms Ahead Of Google’s New Security Update

FrontRunner Technology Keeps Firms Ahead Of Google’s New Security Update
Kingston ON. May 16, 2018
In early February, Google announced changes to it’s popular browser, Chrome, that aim to make the web safer for users. Starting in July 2018, with the release of Chrome 68, sites that do not use HTTPS encryption will be displayed as “not secure” to visitors.
What does this mean for funeral homes? With this focus on internet security, FrontRunner today announced a plan to help funeral homes get ahead of this upcoming change. During the release of their new website platform in late 2017, the company also announced HTTPS encryption as a standard feature, included in all websites, and has now pledged to help as many firms as possible take proper security measures before July 1st.
“Our research finds that around 60% of people use Chrome as their primary browser. That means, no matter what is used by funeral professionals, a majority of families trust Chrome for all of their web browsing, both on the go and at home. So if websites start showing up as “not secure” this could impact the credibility of funeral homes online. In a worst-case scenario, families may decide to not visit a site or even trust a firm at all. As a technology provider, it is our responsibility to not only educate but keep funeral homes current,” says Ashley Montroy, Chief Marketing Officer at FrontRunner Professional.
In addition to helping all funeral homes prepare for the upcoming changes, FrontRunner is also working closely with their clients to ensure their websites are compliant.
“The reason for this is simple, we want our clients to feel confident in their online security and the website they use to offer information and services to visitors. But more importantly, we want the families and communities served by our 2500+ clients to feel safe and not get scared with all of the data and security breaches happening today. When people are searching for death care services and funeral homes, they do not need any added concern. We have made it a priority for our development, customer service and marketing teams to help these transitions be made in a timely manner,” added Montroy, speaking on FrontRunner’s commitment to helping funeral homes secure their websites.
With less than two months before Chrome 68 is made available, FrontRunner encourages funeral homes, regardless of their current website provider, to get in touch and stay ahead of this upcoming change to remain a trusted online resource for families.

So, this year we’re bringing our booth and the convention experience to them” says Ashley Montroy, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of FrontRunner Professional. “Just because people can’t make the show, doesn’t mean they can’t participate in the fun. Those who are there in-person will get unique perks but we wanted our promotions and giveaways to be available to any firm. We’re very excited to see everyone and interact with people on and off the floor, it’s going to be a great show.” Concluded Montroy.

FrontRunner Announces Winning Deals From Final Four Challenge
Kingston ON. March 20, 2018
FrontRunner Professional has announced the winners of the FrontRunner Final Four Challengethat has been running in celebration of the NCAA Championship Tournament.
Instead of picking teams and filling out a traditional tournament bracket, FrontRunner put 8 popular deals in head-to-head matchups and asked funeral professionals to pick their favorites.
The winning deals, each winning by a close margin, are:
- Two months of free Social Media services
- Two months of free Search Engine Optimization services
- $500 FrontRunner dollars
- 50% off the Pulse Websystem, a new DIY funeral website platform released in late 2017
“In years past, we have put on a March Madness event for funeral professionals but this year we wanted to do something more simple and fun. We decided to have our own mini-tournament that gamified savings for our clients and let them play their own game, whether they understand NCAA brackets or not. The end result was a large number of people voting and awarding themselves some of our biggest savings on the year on our most most popular products and services.” says Ashley Montroy, Chief Marketing Officer at FrontRunner.
Hundreds of selections were made in FrontRunner’s first annual Final Four Challenge, and now the deals are available to everyone, industry-wide.
“It was great to see the response. Funeral directors are busy people and we know it isn’t always easy to find time for things like entering contests. That’s why we wanted to make it possible for all funeral businesses to take part in the fun – not just those who filled out their deal bracket. We had a great time putting this together, received lots of great feedback and look forward to doing more things like this in the future.” Concluded Montroy.

FrontRunner Professional Announces Software Integration with Google Calendar
Kingston ON. February 21, 2018
Today FrontRunner Professional announced the release of Eventify, a native integration between their award-winning Pulse Business System and the Google Calendar application.
The integration allows funeral directors to see a list of upcoming services and visitations in one dashboard, feeding all event details such as the deceased’s name, location, times and more directly into their individual Google Calendar application – where the rest of their appointments, events and daily agenda lives. Funeral directors can then use the Google Calendar features they are used to such as event reminders and more.
“Eventify is a great solution for Google users, making it easier to manage multiple events and see a week or month at a glance. With just one click, funeral directors that use our Pulse Business System will be able to easily organize their schedule and manage their time more efficiently, without having to use multiple pieces of software. Many of our clients use Google Suite together to keep themselves organized and we’re excited to integrate our software with this widely-used tool. It’s just one of many features that we will be releasing in 2018 to help make funeral director’s lives easier,” says Jason Truesdell, President of FrontRunner Professional.
The process of setting up and using Eventify is simple. When logging into their FrontRunner system, users will be prompted to register or sign-in to their Google account, accept the permissions allowing the system to manage their calendar and then the integration is ready to use. In addition, cach user will have their own calendar managed individually, which will help funeral homes with multiple employees.
“My favorite thing about this new tool is that it makes just as much sense for a funeral home with two employees and one location as it does for funeral homes with many employees and multiple locations. We feel that Eventify will truly help people stay organized and benefit firms of all different sizes,” Truesdell concludes.

FrontRunner Announces FuneralPay, a New Suite Of Tools Designed to Increase the Average Sale and Help Funeral Homes Get Paid Faster
Kingston ON. December 14, 2017
FrontRunner Professional has announced yet another technology solution that will help funeral homes save time and money, while offering families the highest standard of service. FuneralPay is a suite of tools that enables firms to give families more flexible options for covering the costs of final expenses.
This move comes as FrontRunner’s response to the growing expectation families have of funeral homes to offer a range of options to pay for a funeral. With FuneralPay, funeral homes can take payments towards accounts online, as well as start a crowdfunding campaign to assist with final expenses. In early 2018, at-need and pre-need funeral financing will also be made available through the tool.
Designed to give families more and improve cash flow for funeral homes, FuneralPay also streamlines the insurance assignments process.
“Whether it be taking payments on the funeral home website, integrating payments within the funeral management software, or crowdfunding within the community, this full suite of integrated payment options has been designed with an improved family experience in mind. Our goal is to better connect our customers with the families they serve and help them introduce payment options that best suit the needs of today’s consumer,” says Jason Truesdell, President of FrontRunner Professional.
The new tool is immediately available to all FrontRunner clients and can be accessed through their website or funeral management software. Because FuneralPay has been designed to be user-friendly, the onboarding process is both quick and easy, and can be completed in minutes from within the FrontRunner software.
Even with the comprehensive features of this initial release, there will be advancements announced in the near future. These will include options for family members to isolate and pay for specific parts of the contract during the arrangement using a credit card with the new FamilyShare™ feature. This will ultimately allow funeral homes to help family members experience fewer limitations when selecting funeral merchandise by enabling them to make individual contributions to an overall service for the deceased.

A growing number of funeral homes are becoming aware that their “free website” is not so free after all. The free website concept was developed in conjunction with florists, due to their desire for higher margins and the impact of distributor commissions, resulting in significantly higher flower prices for consumers on these sites compared to what they can purchase flowers for on other reputable online sites. The model is simple once you understand that nothing is free.
“With today’s internet savvy consumer, significant price increases on flowers are leaving a black eye on the funeral home, causing many families and consumers to see the funeral home as untrustworthy and being guilty of price gouging. Unfortunately, it is not only the funeral home’s reputation that is damaged, it hurts everyone in funeral service. The damage, in some cases, may be irreparable. We set out to create a system for Pierce customers that offers the latest and greatest in website and print technology, while avoiding the downfalls of other no-cost website models”, cites FrontRunner President Jason Truesdell.
The new FrontRunner Lite WebSystem provides funeral professionals a better way forward. It will be distributed exclusively through, and subsidized by, Pierce Chemicals to ensure that Pierce clients have access to the best technology available at no cost, while providing “Integrity Floral Pricing” to protect the reputation of their funeral home.
“When you get two companies who understand their industry working together to not only solve current problems but prepare their customers for the future as well, the result is something special. We are excited about the partnership with FrontRunner, what it is going to do for funeral homes and subsequently for the families they serve. The industry is changing and we are excited to take our stationery lines and what we offer our customers, to a whole new level,” says Lance Ray, COO/Executive Vice President of Pierce Chemical.
FrontRunner is the leader in innovative technology and marketing solutions designed to help funeral professionals run their business more efficiently and excel in their local markets. Pierce Chemical is part of the Wilbert family of companies and is one of the largest providers of funeral home products in North America, including embalming fluids, funeral stationery, urns, prep room supplies, and equipment.

FrontRunner Professional Advances Executive Team
Kingston ON. August 28, 2017
FrontRunner today announced the advancement of the executive team. Since its inception, FrontRunner has been led by the company’s visionary Founder/CEO Kevin Montroy, along with family members and a loyal group of exceptional staff. The advancement moves Jason Truesdell to company President, Ashley Montroy to company CMO, and Jules Green to company CEO. Kevin Montroy will continue as the Founder/Chairman. This move is designed to continue to accelerate the growth of FrontRunner as a company. With the move of Kevin to Founder/Chairman, it will allow him to focus solely on the innovations of the company and leave the day-to-day operations to Jules Green, Ashley Montroy and Jason Truesdell, all long-term employees and family members.
“Stephanie Reid (Montroy), Ashley Montroy, Jules Green and Jason Truesdell have become the face of FrontRunner and have been instrumental in attaining the unprecedented growth of the company over the past five years. They are highly capable and dedicated to continuing the high standards and focus on helping funeral service. FrontRunner has always been about family, whether it is our family, our staff’s family or our clients’ families. I couldn’t be more proud of them, or more excited for their future and the future of our clients with so many developments and innovations coming up at FrontRunner”, cites Kevin Montroy.
Ashley Montroy, Frontrunner’s new Chief Marketing Officer will continue to lead the corporate marketing team and accelerate the client marketing services division which has now grown to over 15 employees.
“By providing an in-house focused and integrated marketing approach with Social Media, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and video marketing, the results are stunning. Compared with a fractured approach of funeral homes running with five different technology companies and three different marketing companies, having everything working as one integrated strategy it truly making all the difference in the growth of their company. The days of ‘build it and they will come’ being sold by less reputable website providers has long passed and firms that sit idly under this belief are quickly seeing their market share decline. In fact, if a funeral home only has a single website as part of their online strategy, they are already losing” says Ashley Montroy. “The addition of Paul Orlando, former Marketing Director of MKJ Marketing and co-founder of Adfinity, to the marketing team raises the bar even higher and helps reinforce FrontRunner as being one of the fastest growing full marketing agencies serving the funeral profession”, concludes Montroy.
Stephanie Montroy is heading up Kingston Webworks, a web-based solutions provider outside of FrontRunner, focused on serving both the local community needs and FrontRunner client needs with their business ventures outside of funeral service, further reinforcing a single integrated approach to help clients excel in all aspects of their businesses.

FrontRunner Professional Releases New Video Condolence Technology
Kingston ON. July 19, 2017
FrontRunner Professional has released new video condolence technology that will allow families to leave condolences in video format on a funeral home's website through the Book of Memories™ online memorial tribute pages, easily and conveniently on any computer, tablet or mobile device.
“Today, families are geographically spread out more so than ever before. Often, how they connect is through technology. Our goal with this new video condolence feature was to facilitate a digital connection between families, friends and loved ones during times of loss. We wanted to take condolences a step further and allow families near and far to show their support in a more personalized way” says Ashley Montroy, Marketing Director at FrontRunner.
As one of many innovations FrontRunner has planned for the year, the feature will help funeral homes reach another level of service to the families and be seen as the leader in their communities. In addition, video condolences will stay in-line with one of the premier benefits of the Book of Memories, putting families in control of their loved ones online tribute page with the ability to approve video condolences in seconds.
“In creating this feature, we wanted to not only allow funeral homes to boost their offerings, but it was also important to continue our family-first philosophy of product and service development. In this day and age, peace of mind is of paramount importance for people. We can proudly say that video condolences will allow families to remain in control while opening the doors for more meaningful, expressive and touching condolence messages. This will bring families closer together and help funeral homes reach that next level of service” added Montroy.
With digital technology becoming an increasingly important aspect of funeral service, funeral directors can now be inspired to take advantage of innovations and use them to empower families and the communities they serve. FrontRunner has always taken great pride in helping firms use technology to its fullest potential and remain progressive in today’s changing times.
“The future is exciting and we want FrontRunner clients to be at the forefront of innovation in the death care industry and in their communities. FrontRunner Professional Announces Partnership With GoFundMe To Offer Funeral Homes A Helping Hand™
Kingston ON. July 12, 2017
FrontRunner Professional has announced a new crowdfunding tool, in partnership with GoFundMe, that will enable funeral professionals to offer families a dignified channel for receiving support during times of loss. A Helping Hand™ is founded on an inherent understanding of funeral service and addresses the many challenges that a family can face when a death occurs, challenges specific to funeral service.
In partnering with the world’s largest crowdfunding platform, GoFundMe, A Helping Hand™ brings funeral service expertise to an already reputable software.
“With the growing popularity of crowdfunding as a standard expression of sympathy, we felt that it was necessary to assess the crowdfunding options and create a solution tailored specifically to the funeral space and the needs of modern families. Most models are simply adapted to this industry—we wanted to create something that was unique to death care. Being the leading funeral technology company, it was natural to be the first to work with the leader in crowdfunding to create this incredible tool” says Ashley Montroy, Marketing Director of FrontRunner Professional.
This release of this platform comes on the heels of FrontRunner announcing a strategic partnership with ObitTree, which launched in April and brought thousands of funeral homes across North America together to provide industry professionals, grieving families and the public at large a one-stop resource for funeral service information. Subsequently, A Helping Hand™ will be added as one of the many features that makes ObitTree.com such a powerful step towards a stronger, modern and more sustainable death care profession.
“Our mandate at FrontRunner has always been, and always will be, to innovate new ways for funeral professionals to provide families with the information, resources, tools and guidance that is required to help them in times of need. In addition, we want to foster a better image for funeral service as a whole, break down the barriers and generally remove some misconceptions that are out there. A Helping Hand™ is not only comprehensive, but it is also transparent; our goal is to make families, communities and the funeral professionals they work with have open dialogue about death care expenses. Through ObitTree, this platform is already available to over a million visitors every month. We are extremely excited about what the future holds,” added Montroy.
A Helping Hand™, powered by FrontRunner in partnership with GoFundMe, is a crowdfunding model backed by many years of experience in not only death care but also technology platforms. FrontRunner Professional Announces a New Company Division Dedicated to Funeral Suppliers and Local Businesses
Kingston ON. October 19, 2016
FrontRunner Professional today announced a new division of their company dedicated to helping funeral suppliers and local businesses better use technology and marketing, just like they've done for funeral homes for more than 20 years.
SiteMagic powered by FrontRunner Professional will work closely with funeral suppliers and local businesses to improve their online presence and marketing. From websites, search engine strategies, social media management, and more, the SiteMagic team will bring two decades of expertise and experience to the table and help all small businesses.
“For years, we've been asked by funeral suppliers and local business owners to build them a better website or help them with their marketing but because we work with thousands of funeral homes world-wide, it was important for us to always stay focused solely on our funeral home clients and their success” says Stephanie Montroy, President of SiteMagic. “This new division was a natural next step for us. There's a lot of people who look to FrontRunner as a trusted name in the funeral space and our local market when it comes to technology and marketing. We're very excited to now have a dedicated team just for their success.” adds Montroy.
SiteMagic powered by FrontRunner has officially launched in their hometown of Kingston. It will make its debut to the funeral industry at the 2016 National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) Convention & Expo in Philadelphia.
“We've been working behind the scenes and building a dedicated team for a few months now” says Montroy. “We can't wait to hit the NFDA convention floor next week and start to work with so many suppliers who have been asking us to help for a long time” says Montroy. “We also know there are a lot of friends and family of funeral homes that need a technology and marketing partner so this couldn't have launched at a better time” concludes Montroy.

FrontRunner Professional Introduces the Funeral Industry’s First, Two-Way Integration with Facebook
Kingston ON. October 17, 2016
FrontRunner Professional today announced the release of the industry's first two-way integration between Facebook and a funeral homes' online obituary pages.
This new integration does much more than just connect a funeral home's website to Facebook. It shares real-time data. Visitors can leave a condolence message on the funeral home's website or a comment on the shared Facebook tribute page and the connector takes care of sharing the messages between the two platforms to ensure words of condolence are never missed.
"Facebook is the largest online community that exists in the world, connecting millions of people every year. When coupled with the fact that Facebook is one of the top sources of traffic for funeral homes today, it was natural for us to start thinking about how we could better connect funeral homes with their families using social media in a way they’ve never been able to before. Our goal was to help funeral homes improve the experiences they provide families, plain and simple,” says Jules Green, COO of FrontRunner Professional. “This is one of many advanced integrations we are working on to help set funeral homes apart and we’re really excited about where things are headed with not only the Book of Memories tribute pages but our entire company. The industry is in for some big changes and we’ll be there front and center helping our clients better connect with their families" adds Green.
Furthermore, this new integration with Facebook and the Book of Memories does not compromise user security or a funeral homes reputation. Though the feature automatically links the two channels, funeral homes are still able to use the popular filter option that, if turned on, allows the funeral home or families to monitor the content that can be seen on the online memorial.
“For us, simply introducing an integration with Facebook was not enough. We wanted to make sure funeral homes had the flexibility to monitor and remove any comment if it was ever needed. We also knew how important it was to keep all condolence messages in one place, not scattered around the Internet. This integration bridges the funeral home's website with Facebook to ensure all messages are brought back to one area: the funeral home website where the family is sure to not only see them, but be notified of them,” concluded Green.
FrontRunner is the leader in innovative integrated technology and marketing solutions designed to help funeral professionals run their business more efficiently and excel in their markets. FrontRunner Professional Introduces FrontRunner Social: A New Social Media Management Program for Funeral Homes
Kingston ON. June 30, 2016
FrontRunner Professional today announced the release of the FrontRunner Social Program; a new service designed to manage and execute a funeral home's social media marketing strategy from beginning to end.
The FrontRunner Social program aligns funeral homes with a certified social media representative who will act on their behalf to build great relationships with their online social community so they can continue to do what they do best: serve families. Their dedicated rep will get to know their business, setup and design their pages, build their social media story and create amazing content to be posted on their pages. As the only Google Certified Partner offering Social Media Marketing services to the funeral profession, FrontRunner is able to make their clients proud and generate the results they have been looking for. Every aspect of the strategy is executed and monitored to continuously grow their client's social media following and provide tangible results.
“I have had the pleasure of speaking at many state and provincial funeral conventions, specifically on the topic of marketing and social media. I've helped thousands of funeral professionals gain clarity on the importance of online marketing in today's world. Growing up in a family funeral home gives me the insight, dignity and respect that is often elusive with other social programs we see on the market” says Ashley Montroy, Marketing Director of FrontRunner Professional. “It's a very serious program we've created. We bring a unique offering simply because we understand the sensitivity and respect a program like this needs to protect the funeral homes reputation but also to grow lasting relationships” adds Montroy.
The new FrontRunner Social Program comes on the heels of FrontRunner's shift in direction to become the professions first and only company that works with clients under an exclusive territory, working with up to one in ten funeral homes in an area to truly make them the FrontRunner in their community.
“Our research showed us that many funeral homes are growing tired of website companies selling them a website and then two weeks later selling their competitor down the street the same website” says Montroy. “Today, progressive firms are looking for a single source company that is one hundred percent focused on their needs and can provide them with the unique differentiation they need in their communities in order to win over their competition. This new approach was critical to both ours and our client's ongoing success and our team cannot wait to change how families build relationships with funeral homes on social media” she concluded.
FrontRunner is the leader in innovative integrated technology and marketing solutions designed to help funeral professionals excel in their markets. FrontRunner Professional Introduces its New Exclusive Partner Program
Kingston ON. April 18, 2016
FrontRunner announced today the release of its new Exclusive Partner Program (EPP). The program is designed for highly progressive firms that are seeking a single company to offer them the exclusive products, services and technology to give them the unique differentiation in their communities; something that is often non-existent with most website and management vendors.
Kevin Montroy, FrontRunner CEO/Founder cites "the new Exclusive Partner Program reflects what more and more firms are looking for; a dedicated staff and unique offerings that set them apart from any of their competitors. The program is targeted at those firms insightful enough to understand that their technology strategy is their new business strategy and who want to align themselves with a comprehensive suite of initiatives that truly gives them a single company to help shape their firm’s future direction. In many ways, this is a true partnership"
"Every day we hear from firms that are tired of waking up in the morning only to find their competitor up the street has the same website and the same vendor now working against them. Although we have unintentionally been guilty of the same scenario happening in the past, the new Exclusive Client Program will help alleviate that in the future" adds Montroy.
Exclusive Partner Clients can name their four closest competitors that they do not want to have access to the program, giving them exclusive products and services to truly be the FrontRunner in their community. The program includes a growing number of National Business Systems that allow diversification in these changing markets. It opens up a dedicated marketing team to coordinate all of their radio, television, video production, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Social Media strategies, identity branding and managed services, and custom programing services. The scope of the offerings under this program are truly amazing and allow firms to shape their future strategy with one integrated partner. Under the new managed services programs, the FrontRunner EPP team can virtually handle all of the entering of records to managing their family follow-up programs.
"FrontRunner has invested over $1 million dollars in new staffing and separate offices to drive this program. The results are truly stunning. We can guarantee that any client using the program will see an overnight growth in both market share and increased revenues" concludes Montroy.

FrontRunner Professional, the fastest-growing death care technology and marketing provider, today announced they have officially received Google Partner status. According to the Google Partner Programs website, "A Google Certified Partner represents our endorsement of this partner's expertise and experience." "We're very proud to be the first technology company in the death care space to officially be named a Google Partner" says Marketing Director, Ashley Montroy. "It's not a status that is given out lightly and it's been something we've been working on behind the scenes for quite some time. It took meeting stringent qualifications and achieving search engine certifications, and I am so proud of the FrontRunner team on achieving official Google Partner status" adds Montroy.
In addition to other services, a company's Google Partner status earns the business a Google Partner badge, which Google says "shows the world that Google trusts your company", and a company listing in Google Partner Search. FrontRunner Set to Officially Launch Wyland TributeArt at the 2016 ICCFA Convention & Expo in New Orleans
Kingston ON. March 28, 2016
TributeArt Inc will launch an exclusive line of fine art bronze Tribute Sculptures by world-renowned marine life artist Wyland at the International Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association (ICCFA) annual convention, April 13-16, in New Orleans. The new line of finely crafted, individually made memorials embody the timeless spirit of Wyland's majestic marine life with the same attention to detail and soaring quality of the artist's finest gallery works.
The sculptures will align the more than 500,000 collectors of Wyland fine art with participating funeral home locations, while meeting the increasing demand for Wyland inspired high end memorials. Four bronze sculptures have been created in two sizes -- a full size at 220 ci and a keepsake at 45 ci. -- allowing the tribute to be treasured among multiple family members. In keeping with the fine art theme, participating funeral homes will be able to create physical TributeArt Galleries within their facilities for the public to view and purchase the artwork. These galleries will be listed on the Wyland.com site as well as a directory on the TributeArt.com site.
"I have been working closely with Wyland and his team for the past two years to ensure that we execute the highest quality memorialization offering on the market," said TributeArt Inc., CEO and Founder Kevin Montroy, "These fine art bronze Tribute Sculptures truly embody the "Art of Remembrance" and the unmistaken quality and value of Wyland art.
According to Montroy, FrontRunner's market research has shown overwhelming consumer interest in a quality, tasteful memorial of substance and value that privately continues to be part of their everyday lives and can be passed on through generations. Promoted with a "Personal ChoiceTM", the internal containment of each sculpture provides for the option to secure cremated remains, DNA Capsule, rose peddles from the casket spray, treasured mementos or to simply enjoy the beauty and quality of these bronze sculptures before and after the time of need.
We are currently accepting pre-orders from funeral professionals allowing them to be ready for the April launch to the public at large. We are also offering a plugin that can reside on the funeral homes website, allowing them to promote these fine art memorials and receive a commission on each sale without the need for physical inventory display.
To learn more about the full TributeArt line visit our website at TributeArt.com or on Wyland.com.
These stunning pieces can also be viewed at the FrontRunner Technology Center at 6A Clarence Street in Kingston, Ontario or at the ICCFA convention in New Orleans at FrontRunner Professional booth #1025.

FrontRunner attracts some of the profession's most progressive firms, who are genuinely interested in growing their business. Different from many companies in this space, FrontRunner is not interested in selling to any and every funeral home.
"We respect that the only way we can truly provide clients all the tools to aggressively compete against 'the guy up the street', is to work with one firm in a given area to develop a strategic plan for market domination. Our Exclusive Partner Program helps ensure that. Our clients understand the tremendous value, efficiency and focus that comes from working with one company that can carefully orchestrate and coordinate their complete marketing and technology strategy. They are not interested in being distracted by every gizmo and gadget that comes from the barrage of new opportunists that care little about the real impact their offerings have on the overall good of funeral service, or the firm they are trying to sell," adds Montroy.
This alliance will help better educate the market about just how critical it is for funeral homes to switch their focus from protecting their 'back-end' or management software and focus on their 'front end' if they are going to survive the next wave of online competition. While many casket companies and management software vendors are scrambling to increase their bottom lines by offering, or forcing, lackluster websites on their clients, few have the commitment or real infrastructure and full range of services that it takes for funeral homes to survive in this new online world.
"As I watch how things are shaping up and how and what is being offered, I sometimes wonder if these companies are intentionally trying to help put smaller funeral homes out of business in order to assist their larger purchasing clients. Companies forcing their websites and solutions on funeral homes to get a signed contract or get at client's data and online profits is appalling. Funeral service deserves better and we are going to do everything in our power to help" adds Montroy.
Funeral Solutions Group is a progressive company specializing in no-charge website models, affordable light-management solutions and creative cremation business solutions. FrontRunner is a leading technology provider to funeral professionals and the only truly integrated funeral home website and funeral home management solution, complete with an Exclusive Partner Program, on the market.

Funeral Solutions Group and FrontRunner Introduce the Honoring a Life Memorial Tree Program

Funeral Solutions Group and FrontRunner Introduce the Honoring a Life Memorial Tree Program
Kingston ON. March 3, 2016
As the world comes together to help in the fight against climate change, Funeral Solutions Group today has unveiled the "Honoring A Life" Memorial Tree Program, a global initiative designed to bring funeral professionals across the world together to make a difference in our world and a difference to the families they serve. Working in conjunction with Forestry Groups across the globe, Funeral Solutions Group has established partners in Canada, US, Beijing, UK, and Australia, with more slated to come on board.
"Funeral Service today needs a great story. Through a collective approach on behalf of death care professionals, the Honoring a Life Program will do just that. The pilot program has produced overwhelmingly positive feedback from families and funeral homes" says Kevin Montroy, CEO/Founder of FrontRunner Professional.
The program consists of a beautiful card and stationery kit that the funeral homes can send to the families they serve, indicating that they have arranged for the planting of a memorial tree for their loved one. The loved one's tribute and forest location is then posted on the Honoring a Life website. The program is available to all funeral homes, not just FrontRunner clients. For FrontRunner clients the program is seamlessly integrated, providing an automatic publishing onto their FrontRunner funeral home website. For all other funeral homes, a login will be provided to the Honoring a Life website at www.HonoringALife.org.
David Scotland of Scotland Funeral Home comments, "This has to be the best program that I have ever provided for my families. Each family receives a hand-written note about two weeks after the funeral on the beautiful card provided, indicating our gesture. The feedback and response has been tremendous. I do it for all my families, regardless of the level of service they chose, and the inherent loyalty has been nothing but overwhelming".
The beauty of the program is that it is not tied to casket purchases and the tribute to the deceased is published with the location of the memorial tree for future generations to see. The cost of each tribute is $10, which includes the planting of a tree, the stationery package and the listing honoring the deceased on the Honoring a Life website.
Al Stinson, President of the Canadian Institute of Forestry cites, "Working with the Funeral Solutions Group and FrontRunner Professional has been a real pleasure. Their professionalism, compassion and commitment to funeral service and the families they serve is truly inspiring". Greg Meyer, V.P. of American Forests adds "We're proud to be a part of this terrific program. Protecting and restoring forests are important efforts that will make a real difference in the fight against climate change."
To sign up your firm to be part of this global initiative, contact an Honoring a Life Representative at 1- 866-748-3625 or online at www.HonoringALife.org .

×FrontRunner Professional Unveils the New Book of Memories Digital Video Memorial Book

FrontRunner Professional Unveils the New Book of Memories Digital Video Memorial Book
Kingston ON. February 04, 2016
Today, FrontRunner today took the most integrated and customizable Memorial Video Software on the market and made it even better. The new offering is a special presentation packaging solution that amplifies the Book of MemoriesTM theme that has helped so many firms grow their business.
"The new packaging helps FrontRunner clients move outside of the traditional Memorial DVD output that is quickly becoming obsolete," says Kevin Montroy, FrontRunner Founder and CEO. "Today our DVT program (Digital Video Tribute) offers the most flexible output for our clients. The DVT program eliminates the need for expensive DVD players, complicated wiring, staging and burning software. With DVT, clients can utilize the power of Smart TV Technology, Bluetooth and USB computer devices using a simple USB thumb drive. It finally brings a world class Memorial Tribute within the reach of everyone."
"The new memorial books, combined with other recent updates to the program, improve a system that clients are already familiar with and is consistent with the look, feel and functionality of all other areas of their system. It allows` real time condolences and words of support to be pulled into the Memorial Tribute. That's the beauty and the power of one truly integrated web based solution and why FrontRunner is so far ahead of our competition," adds Montroy.
The new packaging includes a branded Book of Memories Keepsake box which allows for the storage of photos and mementos, as well as a 4G USB which is also branded with the Book of MemoriesTM program. Funeral homes can use the embedded Print Engine to create a personalized insert honoring the deceased. Finally, funeral homes can simply and easily assemble a world class memorial with a unique package that commemorates and solidifies the Book of MemoriesTM program. The packaging can also be branded to the funeral home at no charge on a low minimum quantity of ten.
"We looked at offering a complete service that would allow for the funeral home to ‘re-sell' these memorial videos on their website and FrontRunner would fulfill in-house. However, after doing market research we discovered a very negative reticence by families who were appalled a funeral home would try and resell their loved one's Memorial Video for a profit on the funeral home's website."
From a legal standpoint, FrontRunner also never wanted to put a client in a potentially liable situation if they resell Memorial Videos using copyright photos, music or video clips that they do not have the rights to use, be it knowingly or unknowingly. Reselling these Memorial Videos to the public amplifies the infraction, and could easily lead to significant and costly lawsuits. That is simply not the way FrontRunner operates. It is one thing to generate and make available to the family who provided the assets for their own use, it's quite another thing to resell that to the public for profit.
We did however provide the opportunity to the funeral home to use this attractive and powerful program as a profit center by offering this service on their website to create a memorial tribute package for anyone in the community who has lost a loved one. For the at need families, they can always request additional Tribute Programs allowing them, at their discretion, to distribute to those who they would like to have a memorial tribute honoring their loved one," adds Montroy.

×FrontRunner Professional Dramatically Expands Services to its Exclusive Clients with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Services
Kingston ON. February 03, 2016
FrontRunner Professional Dramatically Expands Services to its Exclusive Clients with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Services
FrontRunner has dramatically expanded its advanced marketing services for the Exclusive Client Program with the addition of the profession's most aggressive Search Engine Optimization (SEO) service on the market, specifically designed for funeral professionals.
This powerful service, designed to position FrontRunner's Exclusive Clients ahead of their competition in the search engines, reaffirms FrontRunner's position as the leader in sophisticated, strategically focused technology and marketing solutions to help funeral professionals excel in today's market.
"Over the past six months we have been quietly and methodically expanding our team of specialists in the field of advanced Search Engine Strategies", says Ashley Montroy, Marketing Director of FrontRunner Professional. "We have worked closely with our Google Partners and dedicated Google rep to build out the most advanced SEO Program and in-house SEO team this industry has ever seen," adds Montroy.
FrontRunner's new SEO program has been built to deliver higher search engine rankings and attract more families to local funeral homes. Like everything FrontRunner does, the Exclusive Client Program works as a completely integrated highly orchestrated solution that in the end saves clients time and money, delivering a total technology and marketing solution with constant monitoring that is unmatched.
"Our Exclusive Client Program was developed out of a growing sentiment of funeral professionals who were tired of having to deal with eight different software and marketing companies that only resulted in an uncoordinated, disappointing and expensive experience. Many were tired of being sold a website or SEO services with the promise of beating out their competitor ‘up the street', only to see the same company sell to the competitor up the street the same solution, leaving them with no real advantage" adds Montroy.
"FrontRunner has gained the reputation of being a watchdog for the industry, and we are proud of it" says Montroy. "It concerns us greatly to watch our profession under attack by companies that care little about how vulnerable they are leaving funeral homes. I've recently watched marketing companies offer websites with no real understanding of, or the commitment to, advanced technology, proper infrastructure or an understanding of the deep inner workings of the internet. I see SEO vendors selling ‘air' with no comprehension of a firm's marketing or technology direction. I even see some casket companies offering incentivised, low tech websites, just to secure a contract or get at a funeral homes data, visitor traffic and online profits. As a speaker for many state and provincial associations, I take it upon myself to help funeral homes become more aware and avoid falling for low-cost SEO or low-tech website proposals. In today's world, they need so much more than that and it's time they had access to the advanced search engine and marketing services they need to achieve a true online strategy," concludes Montroy.
The FrontRunner solutions are very different than anything on the market. In conjunction with a firm's funeral website, FrontRunner continues to expand a myriad of public facing websites and advanced obituary strategies designed to work in concert and drive more families to the FrontRunner client sites. No other technology company comes close to this degree of sophistication, which is why they deliver such strong results and why they are hailed as the best solution on the market.

FrontRunner Makes Local $50,000 Donation to Reflect the "Circle of Life"
Kingston ON. October 06, 2015:
Kevin Montroy, CEO / Founder of FrontRunner Professional Inc., announced a major gift of $50,000 to the University Hospital Kingston Foundation in support of the Extraordinary People-Innovation Health Care Program. The donation was made on behalf of the Montroy family and the staff at FrontRunner Professional.
Mr. Montroy cites, "We are all privileged to have the greatest level of care and caregivers in the world right here in our area, but we cannot afford to take it for granted. Through ongoing community support we can all help ensure we always have this level of care available. As a proud grandfather of my amazing twin granddaughters, my family and I witnessed firsthand, the level of care and commitment shown to them, and us, over their 4 months stay at NICU. It was this appreciation and gratitude that inspired us to want to do more".
Given Kevin's extensive background in funeral service and FrontRunner's technology focus for funeral professionals, FrontRunner chose to make this donation to reflect the "Circle of Life" and have the donation split evenly between the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit as well as Labor and Delivery at Kingston General Hospital, the Urgent Care Centre at Hotel Dieu Hospital and the fund to rebuild Providence Manor at Providence Care.
Montroy adds, "with funeral service being an integral part of the caregiving team in this area, it is my hope that my colleagues and area funeral homes will also consider supporting the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation Campaign so that collectively we can all make a difference towards this very worthy cause."
Nicole Pierce, Associate Director of Major Gifts adds, "thank you to Frontrunner and the Montroy family. We are so fortunate to live in a community where people like you are prepared to help us provide the best care possible for people of all ages."

FrontRunner recently launched their most advanced corporate website to date. Built by their in- house design and marketing team and complete with product-specific information, education tools and unbelievable design work, it is unlike anything they've built before.
"At FrontRunner, we do a lot and many funeral directors still see us as a funeral website provider and do not know all that we can do for them. Our completely integrated, single-data-entry technology solution coupled with our new services and strategy division gives funeral homes everything they need to succeed and more." says Marketing Director, Ashley Montroy. "The recent launch of our Exclusive Partner Program and the nationally branded cremation and pet loss business solutions to help funeral homes grow new market share gave FrontRunner one more arm and we knew it was time to reset the message so everyone knew all that we could for them."
The release of the next evolution of the Pulse Business System, winning last year's NFDA Innovation Award and being nominated again for the 2015 NFDA Innovation Award, made FrontRunner's new website more important than ever. The site will continue to evolve and will be updated as FrontRunner continues to bring new products, services and turn-key solutions and strategies to funeral homes world-wide.
"Funeral homes need much more than a website to succeed today and in the coming years. FrontRunner unveils their most advanced funeral home website to date.
Kingston ON. September 9, 2015:
FrontRunner today released its most powerful website in the company's history. FrontRunner has long been known for the most advanced websites on the market and this latest release raises the bar even higher. It is packed with the most up to date mobile friendly technology, the industry leading Book of Memories Memorial Website generator and the highest revenue generation of any website on the market.
"But to make this next version even greater, we've included unlimited DVD Tribute Video Generation and unlimited Print-on-Demand custom stationery at no extra charge. And if that wasn't enough, we change the game by including the new document handler engine that instantly prints all your forms such as Proof of Death Statements, Clergy and Cemetery Records and a growing selection of in-house and government forms. Funeral Homes using this new edition will have the choice to turn on revenue generators or opt to turn them off. These combined features will help their firm take efficiency, convenience and profitability to an entirely new level" cites Kevin Montroy, FrontRunner CEO and Founder.
While other website companies taunt their latest designs, FrontRunner offers a simple promise - their creative designers operate at such a high level that virtually anything funeral homes can imagine, they can design it.
"Our research showed us that an overwhelming majority of funeral homes still use Microsoft Word to print their forms, requiring them to re-enter the same data multiple times. It also revealed that of those funeral homes that have Funeral Home Management Software, they only used it to print these forms. In these cases, this new standard feature of our new Pulse Website may remove the need for many firms to keep their expensive management software and its often ongoing annual support fees" adds Montroy.
The new FrontRunner Pulse Website is designed for firms looking to maximize their online presence and dramatically increase their firm's efficiency while reducing their overall technology costs. Best of all, it comes with an easy site transfer process that can get you up and going quickly.
For those looking to dominate in their markets, FrontRunner offers the new Exclusive Partner Program (EPP). The program gives clients an exclusive technology solution packed with a long list of products, features, services and marketing strategies that are not available to any other client. This focused approach empowers progressive firms with the exclusivity they are looking for to set them apart from all other funeral homes in their communities.
When funeral professionals take a close look at everything that FrontRunner offers with the new Pulse Website System, they will immediately see that nothing else even comes close.

FrontRunner Professional Purchases TerraPro Funeral Management Software
Kingston ON. August 31, 2015:
Today, FrontRunner announced that it has purchased TerraPro software. FrontRunner will acquire the source code rights and customer base for the funeral home, cemetery, crematory and pet loss software from Terradise Computer Systems Inc. for an undisclosed amount.
TerraPro is a well-respected PC-based funeral management software platform that has been the choice of many funeral professionals since 1984. David Haldeman, President of Terradise Computer Systems Inc. cites, "When my family and I began discussing the retirement phase of our lives, I knew right away that I wanted to make sure that our valued clients were positioned with the leading technology provider in the death care space. FrontRunner is an ethical and trustworthy company that has the products and services that could truly help our clients excel in their business."
FrontRunner's plan is to enhance the integration that the TerraPro platform has into its suite of seamlessly integrated product solutions. This acquisition allows FrontRunner to build even greater capabilities into their products and service offerings. This move will position FrontRunner as the only technology provider offering a complete PC-based, cloud-based and a fully web-based integrated management solution, all utilizing FrontRunner's one-write data entry logic.
FrontRunner has established itself as the leader in providing funeral professionals with the highest quality products and an unprecedented level of service. Kevin Montroy, CEO and founder of FrontRunner states, "When David approached us with his proposal, we both agreed that we wanted to handle this differently than other purchases in our industry. Both parties agreed that funeral professionals are growing tired of the rash of events that have seen their data, technology and profits being treated like a commodity and waking up in the morning to find that they have been sold out to a new company without their knowledge or consent. It was for that reason that we worked very closely with David and his clients prior to signing the agreement. Our hope was that we could start this relationship right by helping to reinforce that FrontRunner is a very different company that genuinely cares about our clients and the profession as a whole".
Under the terms of the purchase, David will remain on with FrontRunner for a minimum period of 2 years and will work closely with the FrontRunner development team to enhance the Terra Pro platform, while continuing to work closely with existing clients. "Each of our respective companies were great individually. Collectively, I see an even greater level of tools and resources available to clients and a tremendous synergy for new and exciting innovations," adds Haldeman.
FrontRunner is the profession's leading technology supplier, offering a comprehensive and strategic suite of products and services designed to meet the needs and budget of any funeral service provider. Those fortunate to act quickly on acquiring the licensing rights to their area will become part of a powerful alliance that will lead them successfully into the future of online marketing," cites Kevin Montroy, CEO and Founder of FrontRunner Professional.
The death rate is set to rise dramatically as the aging population and baby boomers soon reach their mortality window, yet much of that growth could bypass many reputable independent funeral homes for a number of reasons. Changes in legislation have opened the door to a new wave of competition to the traditional funeral service provider. This, coupled with consumers search for the better pricing and service that meets its new demands, is leading to a growing segment of the consumer population divorcing itself from the traditional loyalty that funeral homes once expected. These new consumers care little about geographic location, size of facilities, number of staff or year and make of limousines. They are more conscious of price and simplicity, and choose to be served by those who will support those values. "This is leading to a great deal of instability within funeral service as consumer's desires for simplicity are colliding with many industry providers' desire to maintain the status quo," adds Montroy. While experts debate and traditional manufacturers try to compensate with new strategies, the bottom line remains...the consumer seeks a simpler, more practical solution for their funeral wishes and those requests will continue in the future. Astute funeral professionals are quickly realizing that respecting and serving these diversified families is key to maintaining the traditional values within the family as a whole.
The catalyst of the Simpler Times program is the online marketing tools and the Funeral Selector system. The program is marketed directly to consumers across North America and is designed to allow them to organize and arrange for simpler funeral services on their own, in the comfort of their home, free of any up-selling pressure. They can make informed decisions and select from a simple selection of product offerings, allowing them to choose the level of practicality and affordability they desire. The program directs them to a network of caring professionals who are listening to their changing needs. Their arrangements are registered with the provider and are fully transferable to any Simpler Times provider in North America, giving it added value and flexibility to both the consumers and providers alike.
The marketing strength is to enhance, promote and support Simpler Times throughout North America as the honest, sensible, practical choice of professional providers in the death care industry from the simplest of services to full traditional offerings through partnership with their related licensed funeral homes. "Individual cremation operators simply cannot compete against a networked approach. Simpler Times will continue to attract the confidence and trust of consumers while garnering positive media attention," adds Montroy.
The new program will be first offered to those FrontRunner clients operating under the Exclusive Partner Program. This program further supports FrontRunner's commitment to developing solutions exclusively for progressive funeral homes who are looking for an edge in their respective market places.

FrontRunner and Solutionz Technologies Announce Partnership Offering a whole new level of Funeral Service care.
Kingston ON. Aug 5, 2015:
FrontRunner Professional, a leader in solutions for the funeral services industry today announced a new partnership with Solutionz Technologies to offer the industry's only integrated, intelligent trip planning platform. This exclusive new feature will be included at no-charge to all FrontRunner clients and will be available to all new clients, integrating trip planning into the Book of Memories™ product.
The Funeral Concierge Services offering will allow FrontRunner clients to take service and convenience to an entirely new level of care for the families it serves. The Funeral Concierge will set FrontRunner clients apart from their competition, make it easier for people attending services to work out their trip plans, all while generating new revenues for our clients and donating 10% of our revenues from the new offering to charity.
The Funeral Concierge Services offering will include a comprehensive suite of integrated services featuring Solutionz Technology's travel widget for visiting families and guests, allowing the traveler to find and reserve the hotel of their choice near the event, easing the logistics in their moment of grief.
Additional features will be rolled out over the coming weeks, including an RSVP service to help funeral homes better manage events and the ability for friends and families to purchase flowers. Also in a future release, Frontrunner funeral homes will be given the option of identifying the hotel facilities they recommend for visitors.
FrontRunner CEO and Founder Kevin Montroy cites, "The offering will ultimately encompass all the service and convenience Funeral homes can provide. No one needs to be managing tons of logistics to attend a funeral or service. We want to make it easy by providing trip planning like, driving and map directions directly to the funeral home, church, cemetery and reception locations. Our product roadmap for Funeral Concierge Services also includes integrated catering services, local restaurant information and reservations, car washes, law firm resources along with condolence messaging services, Memorial Donation fulfilments to name a few. Frontrunner is committed to providing the best end-to-end Funeral Home platform and services so they in turn can take great care of their customers."
"Consumers will be offered these specialized services directly through the funeral home website, as well as through the directory listing at FuneralConciergeServices.com. It is simple for travelers to use and can be accessed using their smartphone or any current Internet browser. We want the Funeral homes that use our platform to be recognized for the care they provide consumers. This is just one more piece of the matrix we have built to help drive more families and traffic to our client's funeral homes." says Montroy.
Chicke Fitzgerald founder and CEO of Solutionz Technologies states: "We have been providing customer-centric solutions to the travel industry for nearly 20 years. With the shift in power on the Internet moving to the consumer, we are putting 100% of our focus on developing technologies that ease trip planning around life events. We know from experience that approximately 10% of all funeral home attendees come from over 50 miles away and of those, 89% of travel to funerals and memorial services by car. Finding a hotel nearby the service is a critical part of the planning process and most current travel sites focus on hotels near airports and city centers, versus where the traveler is really going."
Fitzgerald also observed, "We are excited to be integrating our technology into the Frontrunner platform. Their name says it all and it is great being able to work with such a visionary company. We share in their desire to make trip planning easy for travelers during this difficult time. The new Funeral Concierge Services offering, powered by TripPlanz Toolkit™ will definitely raise the standards of funeral homes care to families and grieving friends."
By infusing marketing and technology into the customer equation, FrontRunner will continue to evolve the Funeral Concierge Services offering to help FrontRunner clients be seen as the true leaders in their communities. This new feature amplifies the difference between funeral homes that are only looking for free websites or signing with firms that offer "pretty websites" and those who what to offer "pretty effective" solutions from their firm.

FrontRunner Professional Nominated for the 2015 NFDA Innovation Award.
Kingston ON. August 5, 2015:
FrontRunner Professional has been nominated again this year as one of five finalists for the 2015 National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) Innovation Award. The award will be presented by the NFDA at their annual Convention & Expo this October in Indianapolis.
The award recognizes FrontRunner's innovation with the Pulse Business System Dashboard. From day one, FrontRunner technology was designed to create a totally integrated and complete system that included everything funeral professionals needed to excel in their business. The goal has always been to enable funeral directors to make better decisions, stop redundant data entry, and make better use of their time allowing them to spend more time with the families they serve.
The new Pulse Dashboard monitors all components and features of the system including new records, new online preneed, family feedback, marketing, website analytics, traffic, revenue generators, schedules and more, in real-time. It then displays it in all in a single dashboard view, allowing the funeral homes to better manage their business and make great business decisions quickly.
"Being nominated for an award that focuses on innovation in funeral service on a national level is a great honor for FrontRunner," says Ashley Montroy, Marketing Director of FrontRunner Professional. "We were humbled to have won this coveted award last year and it inspired us to exceed it with our next innovation in 2015."
"It is these types of accolades and feedback from clients that spawns greatness. I look forward to the opening ceremonies where we will share the stage with our four other colleague finalists, many of us who are partners together and who we have the utmost respect for. It is great to all be recognized and respected by NFDA and all our supporters in funeral service," adds Montroy.
FrontRunner has the reputation of not only being a leader in technology, but many cite us as being the "watchdog" for the funeral profession as a whole, always looking out for their best interest. "We're okay with that," says Montroy. "To run at this level requires the tremendous efforts of our entire team. We are all so proud of what we do to help funeral service and the families they serve."
Voting is now open and it's up to the funeral profession at large to decide who the winner of the 2015 Innovation Award is. We would be honored if you can help us by casting your vote by September 21, 2015.

CEO and Founder of FrontRunner, Kevin Montroy cites, "This new and exciting line of carbon-based manufactured diamonds will be added to the suite of new revenue opportunities available exclusively to FrontRunner clients. Under the new patented exclusive process, diamonds can be manufactured from a small amount of cremated remains or a lock of hair in a fraction of the time and cost of traditional manufactures."

All marketing and sample kits will be made available at no charge and the hook up is instantly promoted on the firm's website. FrontRunner=s Heart In Diamond Success Coach will speak with any interested purchaser and close the sale. The funeral home receives a full 15% commission.

The center represents Frontrunner's ongoing commitment to set a higher standard, and provides all the tools and resources to help funeral professionals truly excel in today's market.
Many progressive funeral professionals are realizing that their Technology Strategy is their new Business Strategy. The Technology Center will bring these funeral professionals together from all over Canada and the United States to take their technology and business to an entirely new level.
Regularly scheduled sessions will be held twice per month for FrontRunner clients, and those interested in learning more about FrontRunner technology. Attendees will learn how to unleash everything their technology solution offers and make it work as an efficient, profitable business growth tool. Sessions will include aggressive new Cremation Business Strategies and how, as a Pulse Business Division client, they can access our exclusive territory protected solutions and managed services programs for the ultimate success.
On top of the regular sessions, the Technology Center will hold quarterly two-day workshops on successful new and traditional marketing strategies as well as online marketing and diversification strategies. These are designed for any funeral professional interested in learning how to market their firms to grow their call volume and bottom line, what to watch out for in the online world, and how to position their firm to excel at serving the new future markets. No other technology company is doing more for the funeral profession or clients they serve.
"The Technology Center is a very strategic part of who FrontRunner has evolved to as a company today" says Ashley Montroy, Marketing Director of FrontRunner Professional. As the technology leaders in this space for more than 20 years, opening the Technology Center to help funeral homes reach new levels, seemed like the perfect next step for FrontRunner and we cannot wait to be that partner for funeral professionals across North America." adds Montroy.
The center is nestled in Kingston's historic waterfront community making visits as memorable as they are educational. The adjoining Delta Hotel will act as FrontRunner's corporate accommodations partner, making everything conveniently located. And, with Kingston's downtown bustling with great theater, events, restaurants, bars, and nightspots, visitors will want to extend their stays. The center will even showcase the new Wyland TributeArt Gallery that will be open to visitors from around the world.
"The future will continue to bring new challenges to funeral professionals. With those challenges will come great opportunity for those who align themselves with a strategically focused technology partner that does more than just offer websites or management software. Today they need a strategic plan coupled with great technology to move past their competition and that's what FrontRunner has become, especially with the new Technology Center" says Kevin Montroy, CEO/Founder of FrontRunner Professional.

"It provides a new stage for workshops, seminars, marketing strategy programs, and training for our clients. No other technology company is investing more to ensure their clients' success. "
"While others continue to focus on peddling websites and management software that do nothing to help their clients grow their business, the new Pulse Business Division has one singular focus —dramatically increase clients' market shares," adds Ashley Montroy, FrontRunner Marketing and Social Media Director. "It is disheartening to see such a downward spiral as many of these firms soon find themselves at such a competitive disadvantage. The few bucks they saved end up creating significant business losses because they simply do not have access to the real solutions they need."
"None of us use eight different financial advisors to look out for our financial future yet so many funeral homes continue to use eight different marketing and technology companies believing that they have a focused plan in place," cites Ashley. "At FrontRunner, we carefully monitor all your technology needs and make adjustments to ensure you have a solid technology and online plan in place."

×FrontRunner surpasses its 1.5 millionth Book of Memories™ Tribute Website
Kingston ON. October 2014
FrontRunner surpasses its 1.5 millionth Book of Memories™ Tribute Website
Kingston ON. October, 2014:
From the beginning FrontRunner set out to create a higher standard for its clients. The Book of Memories™ Memorial Website Program far exceeds that of a simple online guestbook, which typically lasts 2-3 days over the course of the funeral.
"Today we have over 2.5 million page views per month and over 400,000 families that are actively engaged with their loved ones Book of Memories™ Tribute site through the use of their user login access. Many of these families continue to interact for weeks, months and years, reinforcing the program's strategy to drive higher family loyalty for our clients," says Kevin Montroy, FrontRunner Founder and CEO.
This success is largely due in part to the aggressive promotion of the program direct to the public through BookofMemories.com and ObitsForLife.com. "We invest heavily in this direct to consumer approach, directing them to the firm in their area that offers the most professional personalization available. With the Book of Memories™ Memorial Websites having matching Print on Demand Stationery, Memorial DVD tributes and a webcasting program, it truly does set a higher standard of professionalism for firms who want to offer their families the very best," he adds. Best of all, the Book of Memories™ are included at no charge as part of FrontRunner's low monthly hosting fee. Those who include the Book of Memories™ to every family they serve are yielding the rewards from the attraction of new client families who increasingly are choosing one firm over another because of their awareness of the program and their desire to have it.
"While other firms are focused on selling trinkets and fluff through online Sympathy Stores, FrontRunner clients are astute enough to still understand where real profits come from", says Jason Truesdell, FrontRunner President. "The reality of today is that, more often than not, family and friends are displaced and scattered across the country meaning the funeral service decision makers no longer just reside in the communities the firm serves and as such the funeral home can no longer count on local brand to set them apart. The Book of Memories™ program allows them to be part of something bigger with far reaching awareness and connectivity to their firm."
For those still looking for reinforced local branding, FrontRunner offers a completely customized and rebranded Book of Memories™ program that can build on the uniqueness of your firm and the uniqueness of the families and communities you serve, while still promoting your firm's offering under the Book of Memories™ directory.
The Book of Memories™ program is just one of a multitude of initiatives FrontRunner uses to help firms reach further, drive more families to their firm and grow more market share. FrontRunner to Release the new "Pulse Business System" at the 2014 NFDA Convention
Kingston ON. October, 2014:
FrontRunner announced today that it will be unveiling the new "Pulse Business System" at the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) Convention & Expo next month in Nashville. For many, it couldn't have come at a better time, as funeral homes throughout North America find themselves being forced by a number of technology companies to either switch to their website in order to be able to continue to use their existing print-on-demand or switch their management software that they have been using for years. These tactics are being called both unprofessional and unscrupulous and are seen by many as a blatant scam to get at funeral home's valuable data, visitor traffic and online profits.
"The new Pulse Business System will help change all of that. It will give funeral professionals all of the advanced technology they need without encumbrances or bullying tactics, and without giving up their valuable data and online profits", says FrontRunner Founder and CEO, Kevin Montroy. The Pulse Business System represents a revolutionary single system that can change the way funeral homes manage and monitor all aspects of their business and access the technology they need to truly grow their markets.
With Pulse, you simply enable the technology components that best suit your needs today, then add additional technology components as your needs grow. No dictation. No bullying. With its single data entry logic, Pulse captures all of your data in one central and affordable system then distributes it instantly to all other integrated components in your system. This saves you time and money while significantly reducing errors. Pulse then works in tandem with that data as it interacts with staff, families, and your expanded markets to provide you with the business decision tools to dramatically increase market share, giving you an instant pulse on the market and all aspects of your business.
Along with the Pulse Business System, FrontRunner is offering a new level of services, such as the new Managed Print Services, where our team of award winning artists can assemble your print-on-demand stationery, as well as our Managed Record Entry Program, where our team of success coaches can add all new service records to your website for you, allowing you to spend more time serving families. This all adds up to extraordinary service at an extraordinary value. A sneak peak of the Pulse Business System can be found at www.PulseBusinessSystem.com. Exclusive Line of TributeArt by Wyland Available to Families through Select FrontRunner Clients
Kingston ON. April 3, 2014:
TributeArt is pleased to introduce the exclusive line of bronze tribute art sculptures by Wyland. These exceptional pieces will be marketed exclusively across North America through select FrontRunner clients.
Not only are these sculptures treasured collectibles by world renowned Artist of the Seas, Wyland, they have been handcrafted to allow for suitable housing of cremated remains, flower petals or other mementos. There are four (4) different sculptures available in full and miniature versions.
Through a unique sales initiative, select FrontRunner clients will receive credit for every sculpture sold within their area, whether through their website or from consumers purchasing through the main TributeArt.com site.
TributeArt represents a higher standard for funeral firms and their families while adding a new level of profitability. This new program will be a game changer for select FrontRunner client firms who will be aligned with more than 500,000 collectors of Wyland fine art. TributeArt creates the ability to fulfill orders, even on pre-arrangement contracts, given the quality and beauty of bronze collectible sculptures that any family would be proud to display.
"I have been working with Wyland and his team for over a year now to bring together this highly anticipated and exciting offering," says Kevin Montroy, TributeArt founder and FrontRunner CEO. "In my opinion, consumers are not telling funeral service they don't have money. For many, they simply no longer see the value in spending a large amount of money on a casket that will be either cremated or buried in the ground, never to be seen again." TributeArt is just one more example of how FrontRunner is doing more to help clients grow their businesses.
"In all of my experience in funeral service, I have never seen this level of quality and focus on a product that will impact so many funeral professionals," explains Chris Farmer, TributeArt Partner. "TributeArt truly sets a new standard of quality and will change consumers' perception of what urns should look like by instilling the concept of Art of Remembrance."
The first of the bronze TributeArt sculptures will be unveiled at the ICCFA Convention next week in Las Vegas.

×FrontRunner's New Technology to Ensure Funeral Professionals' Right to Choose
Kingston ON. April 1, 2014
FrontRunner's New Technology to Ensure Funeral Professionals' Right to Choose
Kingston ON. April 1, 2014:
FrontRunner will begin development of a new feature in its management system designed to stop funeral homes from being held hostage by funeral home management software vendors. Morph will allow a user to switch the FrontRunner management interface to mimic the look and feel of their existing management software. Gone will be the nonsense tactics, leaving funeral professionals with the freedom to work in a new technology system that incorporates their management data and eliminates the need for staff to learn a new management program.
FrontRunner prides itself on always looking out for funeral professionals and creating a higher standard for all. It pioneered the concept of management and website integration to create higher efficiencies. FrontRunner then developed a connector kit to seamlessly hook up to any management system on the market so clients would never feel forced to use its management software.
"Clients have a right to choose the best system to meet their needs, which is why I am appalled at the stories we hear from our clients whose existing management vendors refuse to hook up FrontRunner websites with their software," explains Kevin Montroy, FrontRunner CEO and Founder. "Some of our new clients are also put through pure hell when they try to retrieve their data from these companies. This is a travesty for funeral professionals and we will be working with the legal community to rid funeral service of these unsavory practices."
Montroy adds that there are a few, blatantly unprofessional companies out there causing problems for funeral professionals. Their management software will be the focus of the first interface developments. FrontRunner will continue to add new interfaces in Morph for any management software vendor that denies its clients their right to choose the website of their choice.
Since the acquisition of Halcyon Software, FrontRunner's management system is being hailed as the best new management software on the market. It is the only true, completely integrated solution in existence. Best of all, it is very affordable and free of support fees.
